PERSPECTIVE FROM ELI
Advice for Founders
First off, I congratulate those that have made it this far. To have not only the idea but the courage to pursue that idea is an achievement to be praised. Second is to establish (and document) the north star of the business they seek to achieve. Without that vision, it can be too easily distracted and impossible to rally others to your idea. Finally, find an array of supportive, trusted advisors who will provide honest input and guidance.
Common Startup Challenges
Startups can face distinct pressures to demonstrate short-term progress or growth that can distract or inhibit them from their long-term goals. I hope to help startups define and refine their long-term goals (their north star) and create paths to achieve them that can withstand the short-term pushes and pulls and/or help them find their right path again when needed.
Why Do You Want to Coach Startups?
I've been fortunate to be in many roles for years and have had many amazing colleagues and coaches. I always aim to pay that forward and be a trusted expert to others and help them grow their skills, careers, and businesses. Startups are exciting partners to work with because there's an opportunity to see the impact I can make directly. With many larger and more mature companies, it can be hard to break through the noise, process, and momentum that those companies have, and the ability to affect change is lower. My hope is to connect with people and businesses where my influence can be actioned upon and impactful.
